My name is Theunis (pronounced “Teea-nis”) but most people call me “T”. Born in South Africa, I moved to Australia when I was 9 years old. I’m married and have three beautiful children.

I have always been deeply moved by music and I feel privileged to share that love with others. Since the age of 15, I’ve been up on a stage behind a microphone; singing and playing guitar. Irrespective of whether it’s just me and a couple of friends, or an auditorium filled with people, my desire has always been to help people to connect at the level of the spirit and soul.

I’ve been very intentional about building my repertoire around what is good, beautiful, and life-giving. In a world that often leans toward negativity, I want my music to be something different. My heart is that the words I sing and the music I create would lift people up and create moments that feel joyful, meaningful, and full of life.

If I have the privilege of playing at your event, my hope is to create something that genuinely adds life to the moment—serving you and your guests in a way that feels uplifting, meaningful, and memorable.
