A Little Bit About Me

My name is Theunis (pronounced “Teea-nis”) but most people call me “T”.

I was born in South Africa and moved to Australia when I was 9 years old. I’m married and have three beautiful children.

I have always been deeply moved by music and I feel privileged to share that love with others. Since the age of 15, I’ve been on stage, singing and playing guitar. Whether it’s an intimate setting or an auditorium filled with people, my desire has always been to help people connect at the level of the soul.

I’ve been very intentional about building my repertoire around what is life-giving. In a world that often leans toward negativity, I want my music to be something different. My heart is that the words I sing and the music I create would lift people up and create moments that feel full of what is meaningful, good and beautiful.

I'm based on the Sunshine Coast and perform across South East Queensland, including Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

If I have the privilege of playing at your event, my aim is simply to bless you and your guests and serve the moment well.
