Bookings & Availability

How do I check if you're available for my date? The easiest way is to fill out the enquiry form on my website. I'll get back to you as soon as I can to confirm availability and answer any questions you have.

How do I secure my booking? A 20% deposit locks in your date. Once I receive your deposit, your date is confirmed and taken off the calendar. I'll then send through a booking form to start planning the details of your event.

How far in advance should I book? As early as you can, especially for weddings. Saturdays in spring and summer book out quickly. For corporate events and private parties, a few weeks is usually fine, but earlier is always better to avoid disappointment.

Do you have a contract or terms and conditions? Yes. I'll send through my terms and conditions with your invoice. I'd encourage you to read through them before paying your deposit.

What Events Do You Play?

What types of events do you perform at? I perform at a wide range of events including weddings, corporate functions, private parties, birthday celebrations, engagement parties, cocktail hours, and live music at venues and bars. If you're not sure whether your event is a good fit, just get in touch and we can chat through it.

Do you perform at corporate events? Yes. I regularly perform at corporate functions, product launches, end of year events, and workplace celebrations. Live acoustic music sets a great atmosphere and gives your event a professional, polished feel. Get in touch for a custom quote based on your event length and requirements.

What about private parties and birthdays? Absolutely. Private events are a big part of what I do. Whether it's a milestone birthday, an engagement party, a backyard gathering, or something more formal, I can tailor the music to suit the vibe you're going for. Do you perform at venues and bars? Yes. If you're a venue or bar looking for regular or one-off live music, I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out directly to discuss availability and rates.

Music & Repertoire

What kind of music do you play? I play a wide range of crowd favourites across pop, rock, folk, country, and acoustic classics. Think songs people know and love, delivered live and acoustically. You can browse my full repertoire on Spotify to get a feel for the style.

Can I request specific songs? Yes. Once your booking is confirmed, I'll send through a planning form where you can nominate songs for key moments or give me a general vibe to work from. I'll make sure the music fits the feel of your event.

What if I want a song you don't know? I'm happy to learn new songs for your event. I charge $200 per new song to cover the time it takes to properly prepare it. If you'd prefer not to pay for a new song, I can suggest something similar from my existing repertoire that fits the same feel.

Can you adjust the style to suit different parts of the event? Yes. I'm experienced at reading the room and shifting the energy as the event progresses. Relaxed and ambient during a cocktail hour, more upbeat and engaging during a reception or party. Just let me know what you're after and I'll work with it.

Can you perform as a duo? Yes. I offer a duo option with a female vocalist for an additional $200 per hour. It's a great option for receptions, corporate events, or any occasion where you want a fuller sound.

Sound & Equipment

Do you bring your own sound system? Yes. I bring a professional sound system that's suitable for ceremonies, receptions, and most indoor and outdoor events. You don't need to arrange anything separately.

Do you need a power source? For ceremonies, I run a fully battery-powered setup so no external power is needed. For longer events or indoor venues, access to a power point is helpful. If you're unsure, just let me know the setup and I'll sort it out.

Can you provide a microphone for a celebrant or speaker? Yes, I can provide sound for your celebrant or a guest speaker through my PA system. The only thing to note is that I'll need to be set up within approximately 10 metres of them for the microphone cable to reach. I don't currently run a wireless setup.

How loud will it be? I adjust the volume to suit the setting and the moment. If you have a preference, just let me know and I'll work with it.

Setup & On the Day

When do you arrive? I arrive 1 to 2 hours before the start time to set up and complete a sound check. Everything will be ready well before your guests arrive.

What do you need from me on the day? Very little. Just let me know the contact person on the day and I'll coordinate with them directly if anything comes up. I handle setup and pack down myself so you don't have to think about it.

What happens between your live sets? I provide curated background music through my system between sets to keep the atmosphere going. There won't be any awkward silence while I take a break.

What if something runs overtime? Events often run a little late and that's completely fine. If you need me to extend beyond the agreed time, I'm happy to do so where possible. We can discuss any additional costs depending on the situation.

Travel

Where are you based and how far do you travel? I'm based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I perform across South East Queensland including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Noosa, the Fraser Coast, and Hervey Bay. I'm also happy to travel further for the right event.

Is there a travel fee? For events outside the Sunshine Coast area, a travel fee applies and will be included in your quote. For events requiring an overnight stay, accommodation costs are also covered by the client. I'll always be upfront about any additional costs before you confirm your booking.

Pricing

What are your wedding packages?

Ceremony Package (1 hour): $600 Live acoustic music for all ceremony proceedings including guest arrival, the walk down the aisle, signing of the registry, and the transition to canapés.

Celebration Package (3 to 4 hours): $1,200 Covers either the ceremony and canapés, or canapés and reception background music.

Complete Package (6 hours): $2,000 Full day coverage including live music for the ceremony, canapés, and reception.

Travel fees and new song fees are additional where applicable.

What does corporate and private event pricing look like? Pricing for corporate functions, private parties, and venue performances varies depending on the length of the event, location, and any specific requirements. Get in touch with your event details and I'll put together a tailored quote for you.

Can I customise a package? If none of the standard options quite fit what you're after, get in touch and we can work something out together.

Professionalism & Insurance

Are you insured? Yes. I hold current public liability insurance for all performances.

How much experience do you have? I've been playing live music for over 15 years, across weddings, corporate events, private functions, and live venues all over Queensland. You can read reviews from past clients on my Google Business Profile.

What if something goes wrong with your equipment? I carry backup equipment to all events. Technical issues are rare, but I come prepared so your event isn't affected if something unexpected happens.
